Lea Thompson Joins 'Greek'

Thanksgiving on season 3 of 'Greek' saw a reunion between Casey and Cappie.

Now, The Ausiello Files is reporting that the two will take the next logical step in their relationship: meeting the parents. Only, like everything else on the ABC Family drama/comedy, things will prove to be a bit complicated.

Cappie's throw-back hippie folks will be played by Lea Thompson and Jim Adele (24). A spokesperson for the show is staying tight-lipped on plot details, but confirms that "meeting his parents will have a big impact on Casey."

Thompson is remembered for another slightly off-kilter mothering role as the young version of Marty McFly's mom in 'Back to the Future.' But she's perhaps best known to TV fans as Caroline Duffy, the single Manhattan cartoonist in the hit NBC sitcom 'Caroline in the City,' which ran from September 1995 to April 1999.

Thompson will likely add well to the mix on the show, which premiered its third season to 1.21 million viewers.
