Cake Boss takes over Jon & Kate's timeslot

by Danny Gallagher, posted Nov 26th 2009 4:33PM
Call it a sign of a successful show or the end of an unmitigated disaster, but the reign of Jon & Kate is officially over and joy has replaced tyranny in the universe.

In short, TLC's newest reality hit Cake Boss has officially taken over the coveted 9 p.m. slot on Mondays vacated by Satan's favorite show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.

For those of you who have not left your cave in the last month, Jon & Kate officially left the airwaves last Monday thereby stitching the hole that its pure evilness created in the annals of time and space and staving off the unholy apocalypse. And in case your wondering, no, I never liked the show.

love the show but very concerned with the preview for next week's episode featuring the Hell's Angels...they are an international criminal organization and should not be supported by a family network like discovery/tlc. Please join me in demanding next week's show not be aired.

The Hells Angels are not a Criminal org! wake up and stop reading only the head lines ! They do often get accused of Crimes but if you follow the cases you will see that 99% of the cases are BS made up by some rookie Cop looking to make a name for himself! The Members of the Hells Angels MC have the spirit of the men who founded the United States! These Men are not sheep and stand up and speak out for their and your rights! Its a shame so many are so easily influenced in their opinions on such small amounts of info!!!

Although I will miss seeing the kids on Jon and Kate plus 8 I'm glad that I don't have to see Jon any more!!
As far as Cake Boss goes it is my least favorite show on TLC.

Jon & Kate was a wonderful show in the early years before Jon became a dirt bag. I was genuinely sad watching the last episode. The flashbacks were wonderful. I will miss those kids and Kate....Jon, if I never see him again it will be too soon.

And how long will it be before the media turns on Cake Boss just like they did on Jon & Kate.

YAY! on both counts! (does happy dance around room that hopefully the words "jon , kate, and 8 will never be uttered again and someone will give the show a proper burial)
I like Buddy, though his sisters grate on my last nerve thankfully you don't see too much of them .
And I know from personal experience that the bakery produces some great italian sweets.
