Adam Sandler, Patrick Dempsey Bring Heat, Hockey to 'Extreme Makeover' (VIDEO)

Adam Sandler and Patrick Dempsey appeared on last night's episode of 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' to benefit a New Hampshire family living in a ramshackle home with carbon monoxide leaks and rotting wood. The family also has a son, Cameron, who has been diagnosed with leukemia.

Dempsey makes an appearance as a celebrity volunteer and thrills the oldest daughter of the family, and Sandler bestows a gift of signed hockey sticks while delivering a special message to the six-year-old Cameron.

"You are beating this horrible disease, and turning a terrible thing into a positive thing," Sandler said. "To sum it up in a phrase, you are the king, and I wish you all the best in your new home, and don't hit each other with those hockey sticks."
