Screen star Matthew McConaughey is about to give new meaning to the term "brotherly love."Variety is reporting that McConaughey has teamed up with Fox to executive produce 'Rooster Tales,' an animated series based on the life of his brother, Mike "Rooster" McConaughey.
"My brother's life is so unbelievable, we had to animate it," McConaughey said. (case in point: Mike's second son was named "Miller Lyte," after his favorite frosty beverage)
The series will follow a redneck sheriff who marries a younger Mexican woman, only to inherit her 114-plus relatives.

The show was reportedly part of a bidding war between Comedy Central, TBS and Fox, with the latter emerging as the eventual winner. Matthew will serve as executive producer on the series, via his production company, J.K. Livin' Production.
This is not Mike's -- er, Rooster's -- first foray into television. In 2007, he appeared in the TruTV series 'Black Gold,' which documented the dangers of running his family-owned oil piping business. He also appeared opposite Matthew in the 1998 big screen flick 'The Newton Boys,' playing a tool pusher.
No word yet on when 'Rooster Tales' will officially crow.
