By now you're probably just about done with Thanksgiving. Too much turkey, too much stuffing and just the right amount of pie (since there can never be too much pie) have no doubt left you in a post-feast stupor, without the energy to do much more than lie on the couch.

It's okay, though, because the new DVD market is feeling the same thing.By now you're probably just about done with Thanksgiving. Too much turkey, too much stuffing and just the right amount of pie (since there can never be too much pie) have no doubt left you in a post-feast stupor, without the energy to do much more than lie on the couch.

It's okay, though, because the new DVD market is feeling the same thing.

Thanks to Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, most studios rushed their high-profile DVDs out onto the market over the last few weeks to make sure they were on shelves for the big day. That means that this week we only have the leftovers to pick through. But don't worry; just as you can salvage a tasty sandwich from those scraps on the platter, we've managed to find a few DVDs this week that might be worth adding to your collection. So don't bother getting up from that couch -- just pop in one of these shows and let that nap come for you.

Season five of 'Saturday Night Live' was almost the last, as the cast, which had been depleted by the departures of John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, planned to end the series for good in 1980. Luckily they didn't, but you can still watch the transition on 'Saturday Night Live: The Complete Fifth Season,' featuring a pre-'Letterman' Paul Schaffer as one of the cast members.

The second season of 'Better Off Ted' is set to debut next week, so now is the perfect time to catch up on this quirky office comedy with the 'Better Off Ted: Season One' DVD set.

Speaking of quirky, the unchallenged kings of quirk, 'Mystery Science Theater 3000,' returns with their 16th box set, 'Mystery cience Theater 3000: XVI,' which features snarky commentary on such masterpieces as 'Night of the Blood Beast' and 'The Corpse Vanishes.'

If you missed the first season of Fox's 'Mental,' don't worry, because you have a lot of company. Luckily for everyone, Fox is giving people a second chance with the release of 'Mental: The Complete First Season,' which suggests there will be a second season even though the show has apparently been cancelled. C'est la vie.

Fans of classic television can get their fix with 'The Donna Reed Show: Season Three,' which runs an impressive 960 minutes. Now that's a lot of 'Donna Reed.'

Get those hankies ready, folks, because 20th Century Fox and the Hallmark Channel are teaming up to bring you the biggest pile of romance ever crammed into one tiny box set: 'The Complete Love Comes Softly Collection' gathers up all of the 'Love Comes Softly' period heartrenders in one tender package.

Finally, we finish off with two offerings for the kids out there. First up, courtesy of Disney and 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' is the recent full length special 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse; Choo-Choo Express.'

And if that isn't enough for the Disney fans in your life, try the latest epic from the folks over at 'Handy Manny:' 'Handy Manny: Handy Manny's Motorcycle Adventure.' And you didn't think we could say 'Handy Manny' three times fast.
