Couples have been entering and exiting the revolving doors of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' asking, "what's love got to do with it?" Not much apparently, because 15 out of 18 couples have broken up after the show wrapped.

According to US Magazine, the latest couple to call it quits is season 6 bachelor Byron Velvick and his fiancée, Mary Delgado. The pair had a dreamy on-camera courtship but off-camera their five-year relationship was tumultuous: Delgado was arrested in 2007 for assaulting Velvick after a 'Bachelor' reunion show. So if these casualties of television induced romances are any indication, on-camera dating is no way to find true love.Reality Show Couples: Who's Still Going Strong? jason meznick, molly malaney, the bachelor, the bacheloretteHave reality dating shows forgotten their mission?

Think again. While it is true that more romances have fizzled than succeeded, we're happy to report that there are those rare couples that have endured and beat the odds. And dare we say, they're blissfully happy?

Trista and Ryan
If there was a match made in heaven, Trista's 'Bachelorette' courtship with Ryan Sutter has got to be it. We all saw the twinkle in Ryan's eyes as he fought for Trista's hand in the final episodes. Now after six years of marriage they are the proud parents of 6-month-old daughter Blakesely Grace and 20-month-old Max.

Molly and Jason

While their romance didn't exactly happen under the most ideal circumstances, season 13 bachelor Jason Meznick and Molly Malaney (pictured here) finally announced their engagement this October after a one-year long-distance romance. Jason became America's most despised bachelor when he proposed to first choice Melissa Rycroft and then dumped her on live television professing that he "still had feelings" for Molly. Only time will tell if Jason and Molly's romance will last but for now, we're all hoping to see another televised wedding. Hopefully, Jason won't change his mind this time.

Sarah and Charlie
Actor Charlie O'Connell, brother of Jerry O'Connell, was the bachelor in season 7 and he gave a promise ring to his chosen love, Sarah Brice. The two dated for two years but broke up in 2007. A year later they announced that they were giving the relationship another try. O'Connell reportedly told US, "I'm happier with her in my life."

Ed and Jillian
Despite the tabloid rumors, Ed and Jillian are still going strong. Last month, the couple was spotted dining with friends in Chicago.

That's NOT very good odds for the number of years that these shows have been on.
