True Blood: Season 3 SpoilersWe're super-psyched for 'True Blood' season 3 to start -- right now! But we'll have to wait a while -- probably June -- for that to happen. We'll do the math for you: it's seven long months away.

But we'll have to wait a while -- probably June -- for that to happen. We'll do the math for you: it's seven long months away.

We reported a few days ago that two 'Prison Break' alumnus had joined the cast: Marshall Allman as Sam's younger brother Tommy and Shannon Lucio as Bill's wife (in flashbacks). Now comes word of two more casting notes:

Theo Alexander will play Talbot, an "intensely beautiful" vampire and the boyfriend of Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare,) the vampire king of Mississippi. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Talbot has an acerbic sense of humor and loves to cook, despite vampires' inherent lack of cooking talents."

Grant Bowler(Connor on 'Ugly Betty') will play Coot, a werewolf and the menacing leader of a biker gang.

Several other characters are yet to be cast, including werewolf Alcide, super bad vampire Franklin Mott, white trash Debbie Pelt, also trashy Chrystal, and hot Latino orderly Jesus.

As mentioned, we'll have to wait a while before we can sink our teeth into season 3, but the good news is that production started Wednesday in Los Angeles. The other good news is there's all sorts of spoilery info floating around the Web. Check out the 'True Blood' Wiki and also our interview with Alan Ball on TV Squad. Here's a little round-up of spoilers, with quotes from Ball culled from those two sources:

Will Sookie and Eric get together? "He's definitely been doing things to make her more vulnerable and more susceptible to him. And he does want her, he's just not sure why."

Will Evan Rachel Wood return as the Vampire Queen? "She won't be a series regular, but she will appear. Every state has its own vampire royalty. We will meet the King of Mississippi. Interesting things happening between him and Evan's Queen."

True Blood: Alexander Skarsgard as Eric NorthmanIs Eric behind Bill's kidnapping? "I think you should always be considering all possibilities. That doesn't mean that we're not going to make the choice that is the one that's being positioned to look like a red herring. But with this show, you never know what's going to happen."

Will Steve and Sarah Newlin be back?
"Of course, there's a chance. They're not dead. And I think they are both probably really pissed off."

Is Sookie part faerie?
"I can tell you that Sookie is not 100 percent human. She is now aware of that."

Have we seen the last of Maryann? "Yes, she's gone. They destroyed her. She will never rise -- which I hate because I love [Michelle], and she was so much fun to work with."

Will Lafayette get a boyfriend?
"Yes ... certainly we will see more and more of Lafayette. He built a lot of walls around himself. But we will see him get vulnerable next year -- and not just being afraid of Eric."

Will we see Godric again? "There's no regret in killing him off because I think that [story was] really powerful. That was my favorite thing about the second book. However, we can always go back in history. He and Eric had a relationship for a thousand years. We can always go back and see him again."

Will the partnership between Jason Stackhouse and Andy Bellefleur continue? "We're definitely going to put some tension on them, but they will continue to actually be a sort of ... I don't want to call them a team, but their lives are definitely going to intersect in season 3."

What's the overall theme of season 3? "I think that whereas if we had any sort of major overarching theme for season 2, it was about the power of belief, both positive and negative. I think probably season 3 is going to be more about identity and characters really sort of coming to grips with who or what they are."

Sound off: What would you like to see happen in 'True Blood' season 3?
