Kristin Chenoweth's Christmas movie and Promises, Promises, too

Remember back in May when I wrote about Kristin Chenoweth making a Fa La La La La Lifetime TV movie for Christmas? Well, I did, and now the picture is upon us. The 12 Men of Christmas, premieres Saturday, December 5 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
So on Saturday night, instead of going to a holiday party or shopping for gifts, gather around the TV and watch Kristin as E.J. Baxter, a New York publicist who comes up with the idea of a hunk calendar using the men of Montana. She goes west to find her twelve Montana men, and -- wouldn't you know it? -- she falls in love with one of the guys. Josh Hopkins from Swingtown. How bad could that be?
That's not all the Kristin news, by the by. In addition to her promised return to Glee in 2010, she's going back to Broadway and co-starring with another TV favorite. Kristin and Sean Hayes -- Jack from Will & Grace -- are doing a revival of Promises, Promises. The show, which premiered in 1968, was based on the Oscar-winning film The Apartment. The musical, with songs by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, and a book by Neil Simon, produced a couple of hit songs, including the title number and "I'll Never Fall in Love Again."
It's times like this that I wish I was still living in New York! I would love to see Kristin and Sean in Promises, Promises ... I can already imagine them in the roles. Hopefully, they'll film it for television, and since Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are producing, that's highly likely. They produced Annie, Gypsy, Bye Bye Birdie, and Cinderella all for TV.
