The 'American Idol' alum, and, of course, Oscar and Grammy winner, has had an emotional couple of years that have played out very publicly, but it apparently hasn't chipped away at her Christmas spirit. In her first holiday special, Hudson returns to her hometown, Chicago, to revisit the people, places and music that helped set her on the path to stardom, including her high school and the church where her mother, nephew and brother were eulogized after their 2008 murders. In a lighter touch, Hudson pairs with fellow Grammy winner Michael Buble to croon the holiday classics 'Let It Snow' and 'Baby It's Cold Outside.''Jennifer Hudson: I'll Be Home for Christmas' (8PM, ABC)
