Craig Ferguson's 1,000th show features a special guest host

by Danny Gallagher, posted Dec 15th 2009 7:22PM
This milestone seems to have fallen under the radar, but Craig Ferguson celebrated his 1,000th show last night.

And wouldn't you know it? Craig wasn't able to celebrate his anniversary in person! He actually had a guest host sitting in for him Tuesday night. What a crock. I don't even get a day off on my birthday around this lousy place.

Danny - how about a followup on this brilliant hour of TV?

Jason Segel performed "Dracula's Lament" with an incredible Dracula puppet.

Wavey interviewed guests from Craig's desk and the shark filled in for Aquaman.

A wacky, wacky night that deserves some accolades.

Hi Craig, Your 1000th show was awesome! Congratualtions to you!! I would think you are the first TV talk show host to use a puppet through an entire show. Your comedy, your honesty, your proudness of becoming an American and just being you makes your show first class entertainment. Your show was a "Command Performance" and should win some kind of award. We wish you all the success in the world. We saw you in Indinapolis, In and if we travel to LA we will try to get tickets to see you again. GREAT JOB, Merry Christmas to you & your Family
Sincerely
Bill & Carolyn Dance Greenwood, Indiana
