'Project Runway' Season 7 - Lifetime Announces New Cast Members

by Kim Potts, posted Dec 16th 2009 12:50PM
Here they are: The 16 contestants who will star in the seventh season of fashion design reality series 'Project Runway' (Jan. 14, 10PM ET, Lifetime). The competition has moved back to New York City, fashion experts Michael Kors and Nina Garcia are back in their judges chairs full-time and the designers are competing for another fabulous package of cash and prizes, including an editorial feature in Marie Claire magazine, the opportunity to sell his or her clothing line on Bluefly.com, a $50,000 technology suite by HP and Intel and $100,000 in cash from L'Oréal Paris to launch their own fashion line.

But who, if anyone, will emerge as this season's big scene stealer? Will there be another early front runner, like season 6's eventual winner, Irina? Take a gander at the new faces and their backgrounds and see if you agree with our prediction: The guy who looks like a cross between season 5 'Project Runway' winner Christian Siriano and 'Big Brother' season 8 winner "Evel" Dick Donato seems like he might stir up some drama this season ...Here they are: The 16 contestants who will star in the seventh season of fashion design reality series 'Project Runway' (Jan. 14, 10PM ET, Lifetime).
