Bill Henrickson's oldest daughter is about to fly the compound.

Producers for HBO's 'Big Love' confirmed to TV Guide that Amanda Seyfried will be departing from the series as it enters the late phases of its upcoming fourth season, which is set to debut Sunday, Jan. 10.

"She's been exploring her movie career for a couple of years now, and we've been giving her a lot of room to do that,"'Big Love' creator Will Scheffer told TV Guide. Scheffer would not say if Seyfried's Sarah will be going to college or running away with a guy, or just running away, only that, "She's moving away."

For her part, Seyfried -- whose character provided 'Big Love' with its narrative center in season 3 -- is certainly moving her career along.

After a starring role in 2008 musical hit 'Mamma Mia!' and a part in this year's not-so-successful Megan Fox horror comedy 'Jennifer's Body,' Seyfried has a number of film projects in various stages of readiness.

Notably, she'll star alongside Channing Tatum in Paramount's upcoming romantic drama 'Dear John,' which will be released in February. Watch the trailer below:
