Charles Barkley to Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Outspoken basketball legend Charles Barkley is set to host the NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' on Jan. 9, the first show back from a holiday hiatus, according to The Wrap. Barkley has hosted before, way back in 1993, for the show's season premiere.

Alicia Keys will be the musical guest on the Barkley SNL. Nirvana appeared during Barkley's last hosting.Live from New York, it's the Round Mound of Sound.

Barkley played in the NBA from 1984 to 2000 with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Phoenix Suns and the Houston Rockets. He currently offers commentary on the TNT's 'Inside the NBA,' in addition to the network's pre-game show, 'The NBA on TNT.'
