The Carrie Underwood special is a rerun. I watched it a couple weeks ago; the songs are OK, but the rest of the show is abysmal. I'd say it seemed like it was written by seventh-graders, but that would be an insult to 12- and 13-year-olds.

That's the intended audience, as no one over the age of 10 likes Carrie Underwood. For some reason she thinks American Idol = entitlement. She should take a cue from Allison Iraheta, and have a cd full of listenable songs, rather than trying to get by on blond hair alone.
