Earlier this year, Swift made headlines during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. In a much ballyhooed event, Kanye West stole Swift's spotlight, claiming that the award should have gone to Beyonce instead. A recent appearance on 'Saturday Night Live' had Swift mocking the events.

Speaking of the R&B superstar, Beyonce leads the Grammy charge with a whopping 10 nominations, including Album of the Year 'I Am...Sasha Fierce.'

In related Grammy news, we can also expect a lifetime achievement award for Michael Jackson, Leonard Cohen and country legend Loretta Lynn. The Black Eyed Peas, meanwhile, will hold a fan video contest, in which regular folks are encouraged to tape themselves singing the Peas song "I Gotta Feeling." The group plans to make a collage of videos that will air during the broadcast.
