Jane Lynch gets animated on The Cleveland Show

When Jane Lynch started popping up on my TV promoting Xbox 360, I was amazed how brilliant she was. She had already delighted me on Glee, so why was I surprised? There's not much Jane Lynch can't do. Well, now she's spreading her wings in yet another TV venture. Seth MacFarland has cast Jane Lynch on The Cleveland Show. That's right; she's turning toon. On the January 10 episode of Fox's The Cleveland Show, Jane will voice the character of Ms. Eck, Roberta's new teacher. And like Coach Sue Sylvester on Glee, Ms. Eck is a forceful, in-your-face educator.
In an interview with Michael Ausiello, Jane admitted that she's a big fan of Family Guy and the MacFarland humor, even though she's shocked by his audacity. Regarding Ms. Eck, Jane says that she's blunt and says what's on her mind... like Sue.
I haven't been thrilled with The Cleveland Show yet. It's still forming and finding its own voice, but I will be watching this episode because of Jane Lynch.
Oh, one more thing, Glee fans: in an upcoming episode, Jane will be getting more involved with the singing and dancing. More than she's done before in the zoot suit.
