There are other celebrations, hosted by other celebs, but the granddaddy of all NYE soirees remains this annual Dick Clark production, co-hosted now by Clark wannabe Ryan Seacrest. And we mean that wannabe bit in a good way, as few other host/producers can assemble the caliber of celebs Clark and Seacrest can, including performances by Daughtry, Jennifer Lopez, The Black Eyed Peas, Robin Thicke, teen heartthrob Justin Bieber and Colbie Caillat. 'New Year's Star Showdown' – Viewer fave episodes and music videos unspool in this marathon that also features the network's stars -- including the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and the Sprouse twins -- competing in game-show challenges (6PM, Disney)

'Live From Lincoln Center' – Like the title says, it's live, as Alec Baldwin hosts a performance by the New York Philharmonic (Check local listings for time and channel, PBS)

'A New Year's Eve of Debauchery' – It kicks off with 'My Husband's Three Wives," segues to 'Forbidden Love,' followed by 'Anatomy of Sex' and wraps up with a documentary called 'Strange Sex' (7PM, TLC)

'The Graham Norton Show New Year's Eve Special' – Joan Rivers, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jimmy McNulty -- a.k.a. 'The Wire' star Dominic West -- join Graham for this year-end/beginning British bash (8PM, BBCA)

'Jersey Shore' – Sure, it's all Ed Hardy shirts and hair product now, but Ronnie and Sammie's romance may hit a snag when his demanding mother comes to town (10PM, MTV)

'Billboard New Year's Eve' – Carmen Electra hosts the Vegas-based bash, which includes the opening of Eva Longoria Parker's new restaurant, performances by Kris Allen and Sean Kingston and a countdown of the year's top movies, TV shows and tunes (11PM, Fox)

'New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin' – Griffin lives to try to shock and amuse the audience, and, in her second consecutive NYE gig with Cooper, to shock and amuse her co-host (11PM, CNN)

'New Year. No Limits' – Of course, it could turn out to be 'New Year. No Limbs' if daredevil Travis Pastrana's world-record rally-car jump attempt, live from Long Beach, California, goes awry (11PM, ESPN)

'New Year's Eve With Carson Daly' – Green Day and Rihanna rock in the new year, live, in Times Square (11:30PM, NBC)
