I agree; the broadcast was live, way past most kiddies' bedtime and so what - it isn't like that antiquated no-no's you can't say on TV policy is going to make any iteration of the F-word vanish. To me, Anderson Cooper's Cher impression was the highlight. Anyway, you hire Kathy Griffin, you know who you're getting. I'm a fan, but I hope for her sake that Thursday night's pairing is CNN's last attempt at making Anderson Cooper seem loose or "with it". He's holding Kathy Griffin back

January 02 2010 at 11:40 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyRegardless of what she did say or didn't say, it was clearly one of the funniest two hours of TV I've seen in all of 2009. CNN would be crazy not to have her back again.

As one who watches CNN for comedic relief I can see why you'd get some chuckles from it but mostly it's humor is unintentional. Like the whole "center" news campaign, thats comedic gold. But Kathy Griffin?? If her skin was pulled any tighter that stick up her arse would pop out of her nose. Besides could you blame anyone for cursing when they have to work with a flaming mental half-wit like Cooper?
I think in 2010 the most publicity Kathy Griffin will get will be the same reason as 2009.

January 01 2010 at 3:14 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI don't find her funny often, but I like her. She's cool
January 01 2010 at 2:58 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI'm pretty sure she told Craig Ferguson that she was going to swear on air again even though they made her sign a contract that she wouldn't get paid if she swore on air.
