'The Worst Cooks in America' (Sun., 10PM, Food) series premiere
Whether it's because of economic reasons, healthier eating concerns or just the desire to chow down on tastier food, this Food Network reality series couldn't have come at a better time, as 12 of the self-proclaimed titular bad cooks try to start off the new year by learning some serious culinary skills. Professional chefs Anne Burrell and Beau MacMillan will put the wannabes through a cooking boot camp that will leave them not only armed with the skills and knowledge to whip up some tasty vittles, but also -- for the most improved of the worst cooks -- $25,000 richer.'The Worst Cooks in America' (Sun., 10PM, Food) series premiere

'Doctor Who: End of Time 2' – Farewell, David Tennant-as-Doctor Who (Sat., 8:30PM, BBCA)

'Frank the Entertainer ... In a Basement Affair' – Let this be a lesson to all those, ahem, mature men living in their parents' basement: You, too, could one day land your own love-search reality TV show, if you're willing to admit to the viewing public that you do, in fact, reside in your parents' basement (Sun., 8PM, VH1) series premiere

'Iron Chef America: Super Chef Battle' – First Lady Michelle Obama pops in to tell chefs Emeril Lagasse, Mario Batali, Bobby Flay and White House chef Cristeta Comerford what their secret ingredient is: the White House garden (Sun., 8PM, Food)

'The Simpsons' – Grandpa Simpson becomes famous when a famous writer publishes his anecdote about serving in WWII (Sun., 8PM, Fox)

'Desperate Housewives' – We find out exactly who survived and who didn't in the aftermath of that plane crashing into Wisteria Lane. Between this and the tornado, we'd hate to be paying the homeowners' insurance premiums in that 'hood (Sun., 9PM, ABC)

'Giuliana & Bill' – The E! hostess and her 'The Apprentice' hubby try to figure out a way to add a new member to their family, even though they're living 2,000 miles apart (Sun., 9PM, Style) season 2 premiere

'Brothers & Sisters' – Chad Lowe, brother of series star Rob Lowe, directs this episode that finds Kitty's lymphoma spreading rapidly ... which also means the search for a bone marrow donor has to progress rapidly (Sun., 10PM, ABC)

'Secrets of Aspen' – The reality series could just as easily have been called 'The Real Housewives of Aspen,' because even though most of the female stars aren't married, their backstabbing, fighting and general drama mama behavior rivals anything happening over on Bravo (Sun., 10PM, VH1) series premiere
