Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa attempt to place a phone call during 'Live with Regis and Kelly,' but are met with technical difficulties, causing Philbin to direct mock ire at show producer Michael Gelman.

After an unsuccessful attempt to get an outside line, Philbin lays into Gelman while Ripa ineffectively stabs at buttons on the phone. Ultimately, Philbin throws up his hands in exasperation and begs viewers directly for help.
