This video is definitely a nightmare I frequently have

MD7, To say that Jay single-handedly sunk NBC is ridiculous. Have you watched the rest of their programming? And if you dislike Jay so much, why are you reading about him and watching clips about him?
NBC was doing poorly before, yes, but his inability to retire with dignity has completely screwed the entire network and sunk them to a completely new low. If he goes to another network, NBC is screwed. If he keeps getting lousy ratings, NBC is screwed. If they go along with the plan to shift him to 11:30 and then bump Conan to later, NBC is screwed.
As for reading news on things that I consider negative (i.e. Leno), your logic confuses me. Do you completely avoid any news story about war, economic problems and natural disasters?
I am following the story about NBC's constant re-shuffling, and I wanted to hear Leno's perspective on it. I thought it might have brought the situation some levity, but it only made him more despicable.
That bit you linked to of Leno's monologue once again proves to me Leno's immense pettiness. He single-handedly turned NBC into a sinking ship because of his threats to move to another network, and now that his show is doing piss-poor in the ratings, he's doing it yet again. In front of everybody. How can they continue to work with somebody who has such venom?
Yes, they are jokes, but they hold a great deal of weight. Thanks, Jay. Way to thank the network who gave you Carson's beloved spot for 16 years.
I'm sorry to once again hijack a thread by complaining about Leno, but JC that was vicious.
