It looks like Rita will no longer be rocking the Lifetime airwaves.According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lifetime has axed the comedy series 'Rita Rocks' after two seasons, presumably due to low ratings.
The show, which starred 'Mad TV' alum Nicole Sullivan as a mom who starts her own garage band, premiered fairly strong in Oct. 2008, with 1 million viewers tuning in. At the time, it was Lifetime's first original comedy series in over 10 years.

However, ratings fell considerably in its second season; the show's Oct. 13 episode drew in just 489,000 viewers, according to the Futon Critic. It was later moved from Tuesdays to Mondays.
