Since 'Private Practice' premiered in fall 2007, there have been several crossover episodes with 'Grey's Anatomy,' reuniting the old Seattle Grace gang and sometimes bringing them down to Oceanside Wellness in L.A. But this latest one might turn out to be the steamiest.

Tonight's event (Thurs., Jan. 14, 9PM ET on ABC) finds Addison rushing to Seattle to help her old friend Mark Sloane (he of the best friend cheating scandal) and his pregnant daughter that he never knew he even had. Sounds just amazing enough to keep both hours interesting, but we all know that Addy and Mark don't end up in a room together without a little tension. Especially not if Mark and Lexie's relationship is on the rocks. (Dun, dun, dun!)

Maddison fans are dying to know if they'll hook up, but Walsh remains tight-lipped. "You'll have to watch and see ... it's so much more than just medical, I'll say that. There's definitely some added drama on top of that that fans will love. Or hate."

After seeing a teaser-y clip, I'll say I love it. But yes, the Sam-Addison fan in me is secretly hoping that these episodes don't change their flirtation forever, before it even gets good. And judging by what Walsh told me, she agrees. "Taye and I have so much fun when there's a big scene for Sam and Addison. I'm sure we'll get back there again ... and again."

As for Addison's other issues, Walsh says she really hopes we'll be seeing her TV family again soon. She was thrilled to have JoBeth Williams and Stephen Collins cast as her TV parents, and she'd love to have Grant Show back on as her brother Archer "if he would just stop getting his own shows!" she laughs.

What about you Addison fans? Do you think she'll ever find true love? And who do you want her to end up with? Take it to the comments!
