'NCIS: Los Angeles' and 'The Good Wife' rank at the top two new shows on television in terms of total viewers, averaging 16.8 million and 13.7 million sets of eyeballs, respectively.

Meanwhile, 'Men of a Certain Age,' which focuses on three almost-50 male friends -- Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula play the other guys -- has averaged 4.4 million viewers per episode, running in the Monday 10PM slot on TNT.

The network's order is for 10 additional episodes.

Aided initially by TNT's top series, crime procedural 'The Closer,' which ran Monday's at 9PM through December and led into it, 'Men of a Certain Age' enjoyed the best household ratings performance of any new show launched on basic cable in 2009. It was also the top new show among adults 25-54, the sweet spot for TNT.

The show stars Romano as a separated father of two who runs a party store and battles compulsive gambling. Bakula plays an aging playboy actor, while Braugher portrays a family man working as a car salesman for his demanding father.
