From grey Haddonfield in 'Halloween II' to sunny Miami ... the weather's getting better for Rob Zombie!

The Hollywood Reporter brings news that the man behind 'The Devil's Rejects,' two 'Halloween' films and several of his own music videos will bring his nightmarish vision to an upcoming episode of 'CSI: Miami.' Zombie's knack for portraying the dark underbelly of American life -- and the strange and often dangerous citizens that dwell therein -- is perfect for 'CSI,' and we're sure the director will provide a unique spin on the show's familiar elements of bizarre crime and cultural tension.

The question is: What will best play to Rob Zombie's strengths on 'CSI: Miami?' Here are five possible plot lines for Zombie's episode:

1. In keeping with Zombie's fascination with the concept of family, no matter how dysfunctional, the episode could focus on Horatio Caine and his team investigating a family of shut-ins that performed a gruesome group suicide.

2. Zombie has an interest in old-time carnivals and sideshows, so the episode could feature the strange murder of the emcee of a traveling theater troupe that ends up being some sort of devil-worshipping cult.

3. Zombie, of course, loves rock n' roll, especially rock n' roll theatrics, so the episode could be about a rock musician who performs a death-defying stunt on stage that ends up going horribly wrong.

4. Zombie loves to indulge in strange and sometimes rather random working-class characters, so the episode could be entirely about two eccentric ambulance drivers and their all-night adventure of picking up various murder victims, all the while making their own uneducated but entertaining guesses as to what happened to each of them -- Caine and his team don't appear at all.

5. Finally, Zombie loves to cast his rather lovely and talented wife, Sheri Moon Zombie. Sheri can either play the raving psychotic ('The Devil's Rejects') or the loving but tortured mother ('Halloween'), so why not merge the two? Her character can be a seemingly perfect wife and mother who's actually a serial killer, leaving some sort of ominous symbol on each of her victims.

What do you think, Rob Zombie Fans? What should his 'CSI: Miami' episode be about?
