Speculation is that Estes and the producers couldn't comes to financial terms for his return, according to the report. The actor plays a pivotal role on "90210' as the father of two major characters, Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds), and the husband of Lori Loughlin's character.

The writers of '90210' will need to do some fancy footwork to have Estes exit while Grimes, Wilds and Loughlin remain.

We decided to give them a little help with some exit scenarios:

•Wilson reunites with Tracy Clark, mother of Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), and the two move back to the Midwest, giving up the status-centric Beverly Hills life once and for all.

•Wilson takes over adopted son Dixon's porn company and moves to the San Fernando Valley, the capital of the porn industry.

•Wilson becomes a partner with Jasper (Zachary Ray Sherman) in Jasper's drug dealing and moves to Los Angeles.

•Wilson makes Navid Shirazi broadcast a statement to the students of West Beverly Hills High that he thinks they're all too self absorbed. The Beverly Hills school board demands his immediate resignation. He leaves town.

•Wilson has an identity crisis and thinks he's someone named Kyle McBride, who lives in the Melrose Place apartments of West Hollywood. He quits his job as principal and goes to Hollywood, searching for work.
