David Letterman Continues Assault on Jay Leno and NBC (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Jan 21st 2010 12:00PM
David Letterman continued his relentless assault of Jay Leno and NBC last night during the opening monologue of 'The Late Show,' joking that Conan O'Brien has received a raw deal from the network and underscoring the notion that Leno is being opportunistic over O'Brien's plight. "Conan O'Brien, he had 'The Tonight Show' and now he's leaving, and NBC is negotiating with him and it's that intellectual property," Letterman said. "He can't take his signature comedy bits with him. But that's okay, Jay will take them."
