Letterman's Attack on Leno and NBC Continues (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Jan 22nd 2010 11:00AM
David Letterman just can't help himself. The 'Late Show' host continued to gleefully bash Jay Leno and NBC over the network's late-night mess, mocking Leno's statement from earlier in the week that the scheduling upheaval wasn't his fault, and pledging to continue criticizing NBC in lieu of Conan O'Brien who will be legally forbidden to do so.

"Four days of rain in Los Angeles, and there's been a lot of flooding ... and when it floods like that they get the mudslides. It's been such a problem ... that, earlier today, Jay Leno held a press conference to announce that it wasn't his fault," Letterman quipped.

"And as part of the settlement with Conan O'Brien, Conan will not be allowed to bad-mouth NBC," Letterman said, referring to O'Brien's multi-million severance deal. "Eh, don't worry. Leave it to me. I'll take care of that."
