by Isabelle Carreau, posted Jan 24th 2010 10:00AM

This is Spoilers Anonymous, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air. We'll never put spoilers up here on the main page in order to help the reformed stay unspoiled. If you have anything to add to the group, feel free to step up and let yourself be heard, either with our tips form or by emailing us at tvsquad at gmail dot com, or call and leave a message at (775) 640-8479. Your anonymity is guaranteed, if you wish to remain as such.

This week we have spoilers for: 90210, Bones, Brothers & Sisters, Chuck, Cougar Town, Glee, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Melrose Place, NCIS: Los Angeles, Smallville, Supernatural, and Ugly Betty.

90210
  • Jennie Garth and Rob Estes will be leaving the series this season. Estes asked to leave the show when an agreement couldn't be done regarding compensation. However, his departure will work well with the fact that the show wants to focus more on the teens and less on the adults. So less adults means less Jennie Garth, who is really busy anyway with a children's book, work with the American Heart Associate and a new small-screen project. [Source: Watch with Kristin]

Josh Malina will guest star as the director of a mental institution and could return in later episodes. [Source: Korbi TV]

[Source: TV Guide Online]
  • In case you didn't know, Madonna loves Glee and even allowed the show to use her songs. To celebrate, the show is currently planning a special Madonna-themed episode, featuring several of her most memorable hits. Plans are to have Emma dress provocatively and sing "Like a Virgin" with another character. Rachel will be wearing one of Madonna's signature looks. Sue will dress up in Madonna's infamous cones over her breasts outfit and sing "Vogue" in a fantasy sequence in which Sue wants to get a makeover. In other news, Teri will be moving with her sister and get a new love interest that is rumored to work at school. [Source: Keck's Exclusives]
  • Neil Patrick Harris is close to signing a deal to appear in a May sweeps episode that will be directed by Joss Whedon. If the deal works, Harris' role on the show will involve some dancing and singing. Series creator Ryan Murphy says that, as some fan speculation say, the character to be played by Idina Menzel could end up being Rachel's mother. He's not sure yet if he'll go that route or not. As of right now, Menzel is set to play the female coach of Vocal Adrenaline and nothing more. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • Jennifer Lopez is in talks to guest star on the show as a cafeteria worker. There will be a huge, all-girls Madonna song and dance number in the Madonna-themed episode. [Source: Watch with Kristin]

  • As you know, Serena and Nate will get back together. In an upcoming episode, she will throw him a huge birthday party that will involve an assassin type game. [Source: Keck's Exclusives]
  • William Baldwin will be playing Serena's father. William van der Woodsen. He is set to appear in at least three episodes. Chuck and Blair will hit a significant (and potentially irreparable) rough patch at the end of the season. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • Chuck and Blair's break up is said to be a very bad one. The reason they'll break up is because Chuck will do something horrible that will have everyone hate him for it. Jack Bass will also be part of why the duo will break up. Georgina will be back. [Source: Watch with Kristin]

Grey's Anatomy
  • To those worrying that The Chief may be leaving the show after watching last Thursday's episode, you'll be happy to learn that he isn't leaving the show even if it looks like Derek will get The Chief's job. Derek will be in the Chief's position but not permanently. Until Richard can sort out his problems, Derek will act as interim chief. Not everyone will be happy about that; actually, the hospital will be divided in two. Owen will be on Derek's side. [Source: TV Guide Online]

Bones is a good show. The female and male lead role stars need to be replaced. She doesn't have it and he has even less. Get a tough guy in there and a sexy woman....Not these two...they belong on a game show

I adore spoilers, but yours are always a couple weeks out of date when you finally post them. Have any connections to get us something new? Love TV Squad, and love the inside track, and would love this site to offer something new. *smile*

I'm happy to see Scott Bakula return to Chuck. One of my favorite moments in the series was seeing Chuck's expression when he revealed the Orion controller on his arm. I thought the introduction of his father added an interesting element to the story by continuing the trend of revealing people who Chuck thought had abandoned him that were actually protecting him.

As the NCIS: LA info, did these events not already happen in recent shows?

There was story line about Sam killing the kid's father on a mission then he brought him him back to the States, I think it was the episode titled "Breach".

Then the one (episode Past Lives) where Callen went back to an old alias who had a relationship with a target's sister (where he thought her child might be his)

I don't think Missi Pyle is playing Bailey, Missi is much taller than Chandra Wilson among other things.

You're right. I read the spoilers wrong. Missi Pile will play Bailey's supervisor from hell during the pre-Nazi sequences. Picture of Pile infuriated at young Bailey here: http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/01/22/greys-anatomy-bailey-flashback/

I'll correct the spoiler.

"The episode will also feature Missi Pyle, who'll play Bailey before she was nicknamed "Nazi."

Hmmm. Missi is a tall, skinny white girl so I don't think she'll be playing Bailey. Though that *would* be funny in a way. lol

Oh well, the only reason I bother with 90210 is for Jennie Garth. When she goes I go.

Yeah, I too am not super happy with the news as Jennie Gart and Rob Estes were two of the main reasons I was still bothering watching the show. They will probably lose my viewership as well.
