In a supremely awkward moment from 'The View,' Shepherd asked Alicia Silverstone to share fond memories of Brittany Murphy, then proceeded to help herself to a plate of brownies while the actress told a story from 'Clueless.'

Silverstone was in the process of describing what it was like to work with the departed Murphy when Shepherd began to loudly unwrap a brownie and start to eat.

"What is this that I'm eating that you made?" Shepherd interrupted. "Is it vegetarian?"
