The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the program's working title is 'Only In America With Larry the Cable Guy' and will feature the comedian touring the United States, immersing himself in different lifestyles and occupations that promise to "celebrate the American experience."

This will mark Larry's return to cable and the first show where he's solely in the driver's seat. He was last seen alongside Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall on the WB's 'Blue Collar TV,' which ran from 2004-06.

This marks the next installment in History's quest to become more than just "that WW-II channel" -- in recent months, they've greenlighted a fire-arm centered reality completion show called 'Top Shots,'; as well as the self-explanatory 'Extreme Trucking' and a show called 'Slice,' where objects are, well, sliced open.

It's not to say Larry's been dormant during the last few years; he's still releasing comedy albums at a frequent rate and provided the voice to Mater in the Disney/Pixar film 'Cars.' Last year he was the celebratory figure on one of Comedy Central's Roasts, which means, if we know Larry, we're sure that he'll Git-R-Done with this new venture.
