Terrifying clown commercials

Walmart Clown CommercialClowns are scary. I've known people who wouldn't flinch to kill a man with their bare hands who would run screaming at the first site of one of Bozo's children. Their faces are painted in permanent smiles, their hair is never a natural color, and they are always wearing a one-piece suit, which is mysterious. How'd they get in there?

The fear is immediate, which is what makes clowns so effective in commercials. Just have a few seconds to communicate something scary? Send in the clowns. Here are a few currently or recently in circulation.

Walmart

 This one has become a bit of a YouTube phenomenon. If there is a CLIO category for best actor, the clown in this commercial deserves it for his expression of pure, sustained rage.



U.S. Postal Service
This is more a Poltergeist, sneak up on you kind of clown. Still scary.



E*TRADE
In this one, just the suggestion of a clown does the trick.

The original creepy clown. Is that ketchup or blood around his lips?

I find clowns annoying. Ever since I was a child, I truly hates clowns. They are somewhat mean looking. They aren't friendly and I find them so freaking weird. The videos itself here justifies my theories.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!.

When "IT" by Stephen King was show on TV, it gave my daughter a clown phobia, to the point, she will never go to a circus, let alone watch one of those commercials.
