It's the last dance for Samantha Harris on 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Harris will not return as the show's co-host when the ABC series returns on March 22. After eight years interviewing the celebs and pro dancers alongside Tom Bergeron, Harris is moving on to concentrate on other gigs.

Producers haven't announced details about replacing Harris, but we've come up with our own list (in alphabetical order) of a few candidates who make sense, and maybe one or two who kind of don't:It's the last dance for Samantha Harris on 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Producers haven't announced details about replacing Harris, but we've come up with our own list (in alphabetical order) of a few candidates who make sense, and maybe one or two who kind of don't:

Brooke BurkeBrooke Burke
She's gorgeous, articulate and a former champion (season 7). Burke would provide the perfect balance of celeb sizzle and can-do job skills.

Pros:
Burke knows her way around a dance floor and how to get coherent comments of out people who aren't coherent -- see her 'Wild On!'' work.
Cons: None as far as we can tell.

Cheryl BurkeCheryl Burke
Burke needs a vehicle to break out into solid B-list celebrity-dom and this could be her ticket.

Pros:
Two time 'DWTS' pro champion knows what it takes to win
Cons: She can dance, but can she talk?

Donny and Marie OsmondDonny and Marie
'Dancing' resuscitated both their careers, and here's their chance to keep that momentum going.

Pros:
Even the most blandest of contestants will look riveting next to these two
Cons: Marie's possible sudden loss of consciousness

Drew LacheyDrew Lachey
'Dancing With the Stars' made him a star, and here's his chance to return the favor. Lachey did an able job when he filled in for Harris during season 5.

Pros:
Previously hosted when Harris took a maternity leave hiatus
Cons: Inclined to make inappropriate sodomy jokes

Lil KimLil Kim
She needs some exposure beyond round-ups of celebs with botched plastic surgery or criminal records, but she might overshadow the dancing.

Pros: The Queen Bee will surely inject sass into show
Cons: Inappropriate dress and language might be too edgy for 'DWTS'

Mario LopezMario Lopez
Lopez, a former contestant, has plenty of hosting experience -- we love him best for his work on Animal Planet's 'Pet Star,' BTW. He's a natural fit here.

Pros:
He's a young, good-looking guy with MTV cred and no baggage
Cons: Lopez has plenty of expertise hosting, but can he co-host?
