Jon Stewart Goes on 'The O'Reilly Factor' Tonight

by Brad Trechak, posted Feb 3rd 2010 10:00AM
Jon Stewart on FoxIt isn't the first time that these two opposing television forces of Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly have collided. Their last match-up was in 2004. However, tonight on the Fox News Channel you can see the first of two parts of the big O'Reilly/Stewart smackdown during 'The O'Reilly Factor.' Two out of three falls! For the Championship of the World!

Well, maybe not any of that stuff, but it will likely be entertaining. Considering that I've watched O'Reilly on 'The Colbert Report' (Papa Bear came home) and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog on 'The O'Reilly Factor' (it was edited for content), I can't see this particular meeting of the minds as anything major.

Of the two, Stewart seems the more savvy but it's likely that O'Reilly will be the winner of any political debate that occurs. After all, he controls the editing room.

Oh please leave political rants in the comments! I beg you! Please, please, please!

If you think steward is funny or if your freinds do, you need to get out more and actually get new freinds.... or some freinds .... they aren't watching, based on the numbers...

First, his name is spelled "Stewart". Get it right next time, brainiac.

And second, you don't know what the hell you're talking about, saying Stewart isn't funny or insightful. You've never seen him take down Crossfire or Jim Cramer to know why he's one of the most insightful people around.

But it's obvious you're one of those idiot birther tea baggers who listens to too much Limbaugh and watches too much Fox News to be taken seriously. You and your kind are dragging the country down the sewer. Grown a brain before you ruin America.

Simply, Steward is not very funny. Perversion only goes so far before it is just blah, blah, blah. His ratings say it all. Most people just leave and not say a thing, like the evenening news ratings of the mainstream media, steward needs to improve his content, or is he entitled to be there? If he was funny more people would watch, me even... but alas he sits on his own mind.....

You better hope God doesn't exist. Otherwise, you're in big trouble.

Fox news isn't funny. Most people I know consider that Fox is just playing to the slightly retarded segment of the public and doing little harm. But, you don't have to pass an IQ test to vote. And, if you tell a lie often enough and the people hearing it repeat it often enough, it tends to filter up the IQ level.
Fox is creating an alternate universe of lies. Death panels exist in their world. Fox viewers are lower middle class to lower class financially. They are twice as likely to have been thrown out of work by the recession as those who favor other news outlets, but they support the fiscal policies of Republicans that favor the rich to the detriment of their own interests. I never have figured out why. If anyone can enlighten me on that, I'd appareciate it. And, I'd really like to know why anyone who is middle class would support the propoganda outlet of the party that is working for the rich.
