Whoopi's 'Lion King' Rehearsals on 'The View' (VIDEO)

In a one-time only event, Whoopi Goldberg made a series of cameos in the Broadway version of 'The Lion King' on Jan. 14, including appearances as Rafiki and The Bird Lady. Goldberg originated the voice of Shenzi the Hyena in the original 1994 Disney movie.

In this behind-the-scenes footage, which aired on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), Goldberg struggles with dialogue, swings on a vine and briefly reprises her role as the villainous spotted hyena.
