Ashton Kutcher as 'Saturday Night Live' Host: 3 Memorable Moments

by Hulu Staff, posted Feb 5th 2010 4:00PM
Ashton KutcherTomorrow, 'Valentine's Day' star Ashton Kutcher will be stepping onto the stage at Studio 8H for the fourth time as host of 'Saturday Night Live.' Since the long-running sketch comedy series hasn't had many "I can see Russia from my house!" moments this season, will Kutcher up the ante?

It's too soon to tell, but the team at Hulu can't help but wonder if we'll be treated to any mentions of Twitter and perhaps a Demi Moore cameo this weekend -- after all, Moore gave her now-hubby some fashion advice in his 2008 monologue, which we've highlighted (along with two others) below. Judging on his previous appearances, what do you think: Will Kutcher deliver?Ashton KutcherTomorrow, 'Valentine's Day' star Ashton Kutcher will be stepping onto the stage at Studio 8H for the fourth time as host of 'Saturday Night Live.' Judging on his previous appearances, what do you think: Will Kutcher deliver?

"Monologue"
While many of us know the former Calvin Klein model for his acting -- 'That '70s Show' and 'Dude, Where's My Car?' come to mind --and his nearly 4.5 million Twitter followers, Kutcher devoted his 2008 'SNL' appearance on the show to highlighting his talents as a producer. After all, he worked behind the scenes on such shows as 'Punk'd' and 'Beauty and the Geek.' Trouble is, at least in this sketch, the up-and-coming producer's pointers weren't always appreciated by the cast and crew.

"Death by Chocolate"
In this next bit, Kutcher donned face paint worthy of the Joker and provided a rather literal interpretation of a decadent dessert. Think of it as one part 'Punk'd' and two parts Chucky.

"Activia"
The 'SNL' writers are shy about bathroom humor. So when Jamie Lee Curtis became spokesperson for Dannon's Activia yogurt, they asked the all-important question: what would happen if Curtis ate all that yogurt? And while Kristen Wiig's Curtis isn't ashamed by the aftermath, Kutcher (playing the director) wasn't quite sure how to handle it. Can't say we blame him!
