'Chuck' Finale Date

The third season of 'Chuck,' the action-comedy TV show showcasing our favorite nerdy, crime-fighting spy, will come to an end May 24. NBC on Monday morning announced its schedule of finales for the 2009-10 primetime slate. There's no word yet on the fate of 'Chuck' after the season ends, but given the show's poor ratings -- despite a surge in quality -- NBC might rethink the comedy's place on a post-Comcast takeover 2010-11 primetime schedule.

The "hanging by a thread" show will end with a bang at least, with a two-hour event that will hopefully tie up any loose ends -- in case there's a sudden change of heart from the NBC brass.
