Alex O'Loughlin to Star in 'Hawaii Five-0' Remake

It's official: Alex O'Loughlin will star in the CBS remake of 'Hawaii Five-0.'According to the Hollywood Reporter, O'Loughlin will play the head of the Hawaii State Police dept., a role that was originally made famous by Jack Lord in the late '60s.
O'Loughlin was first rumored to star in the show back in January.
As we previously reported, O'Loughlin will co-star alongside 'Lost''s Daniel Dae Kim, who, according to the report, will play Detective Chin Ho Kelly.

'Hawaii' will mark a return to CBS for O'Loughlin, who starred in the recently canceled medical drama 'Three Rivers.' He was also, of course, star of the fan favorite 'Moonlight,' which also lasted just one season.
Third time's the charm?
