Staff Crush: Seeley Booth of 'Bones'

In honor of Valentine's Day, AOL TV's staff will be revealing their crushes all week.
Words cannot describe my intense crush on Seeley Booth -- the kickass FBI agent partnered with a forensic anthropologist on 'Bones.' A girl's got to try, though.
What I adore about Booth (David Boreanaz) is his many superior qualities. He's protective; he took a bullet for Bones. He's sensitive; he gets upset when she tells his boss he thinks a hardboiled egg looks like an eye. He has a sense of honor and duty; the reason he became FBI agent was to catch as many murderers as he can to make up for killing 50 people as a sniper in the Army Rangers. In honor of Valentine's Day, AOL TV's staff will be revealing their crushes all week.

On top of all that, he's incredibly sexy. My favorite outfits of his include: the standard FBI suit with crazy socks and a wacky tie as small symbols of rebellion; jeans, a leather jacket and a Flyers t-shirt; and a beer helmet and nothing else. The man could look good for a living.
But it's the loving side of Booth that I find most attractive. And I have three examples that will make your heart melt.
1. His son, Parker
Nothing is sexier than a father and Booth is a great one. He worries that he's not enriching Parker enough at home, teaches him to walk away from a fight for himself but to stand up for others, and gets upset when his ex takes him away for the holidays. It makes my ovaries sob.
2. His grandfather
Booth's grandpa took him and his brother in after their alcoholic father ran out. And the tortured FBI agent admits his grandfather is the reason he's still alive. And when the elder Booth gets kicked out of his nursing home, grandson insists on repaying him and taking him in. Ultimately, however, the arrangement doesn't work out. But all the better because one day, we hope he's living with someone else on the show. Which leads me to the final example ...
3. Bones
There's nothing he wouldn't do for Temperance Brennan. Including the aforementioned bullet, he's there for her always. He threatened a Colombian drug lord who put out a hit on his partner, he offered his "stuff" when she wanted to have a baby, he stood by as she dated his friend, his brother and his boss, all while waiting for her to realize that he's the one. He won't tell her he loves her, either, for fear of hurting her. Yet, he longing in his eyes is quite palpable, and enough to make any fangirl squeal.
Basically, it all adds up to Booth being the perfect man. Unfortunately, I don't think they make them like this in real life. (In fact, I know this.) Oh well, every Thursday at 8PM on Fox, at least, there's something to look forward to.
And did I mention he's hot? Don't think so? Just watch this kiss.
