'Dexter's Julie Benz Talks ... From Beyond the Grave!

by Danny Gallagher, posted Feb 16th 2010 9:00AM
Julie BenzJulie Benz has been all over the place since her latest stint on 'Dexter' came to an abrupt and shocking end.

And apparently, no one was more shocked about her character than Julie herself! "Out of all the characters that I've played, I think she's the one I grieved for the most, just because it really came out of left field."

She recently sat down with our own Jane Boursaw for an interview at AOL Television (the only reason they wouldn't let me do it is because the majority of my dialogue would have consisted of drooling and repeating the phrase "Hamina-hamina-hamina").

She talked about her run on the acclaimed Showtime series, as well as her latest run on 'Desperate Housewives' as a stripper in reform and her rumored return to films such as 'Rambo V' and 'Saw VII.'

They should keep the actress on. To have her be a voice in Dexters head like his dad. Where Harry helps with the killer side, Rita can help with the newly discovered human side.

I have not season "Dexter" season 4, but its pretty much impossible to avoid this spoiler by now unfortunately. Every freaking article title on her talks about Rita's fate on the series. So thank you to all of the television entertainment periodicals out there. Be it Tv Squad, TV Guide, or Entertaiment Weekly who have long popped that cork and can't seem to write an article about Julie Benz without writing a title spoiling the finale of "Dexter" for everyone who doesn't have Showtime. If I still had Showtime and had seen season 4, I wouldn't care, or if they put thier DVD season out within a few weeks, so we wouldn't know details of everything that happened during season 4 months before watching the DVDs.

Just a quick note, Dexter Season 4 hasn't even begun airing in the UK, there must be UK readers as there are usually comments when hulu videos are posted.
