Eyes are windows to the soul. They're also a dramatic visual device employed often by the producers of 'Lost.' So much so that YouTuber Eisentower30 has assembled a new compilation of 'Lost's' eyeball shots and set it to music by Michael Giacchino from the 2006 'Lost' original soundtrack album. WWEinvadesTNA8 also has an eye compilation, posted about five months ago.

Eyes are open, shut, sleepy and wide awake in the videos. They're sometimes cut and bandaged, too. The Web site Lost is a Game is doing a nice job documenting how often there's a close-ups on eyes on the show, including the first scene of the first episode, a close-up of Jack's eyes.
What does it all mean? Perhaps it's a suggestion that the reality on 'Lost' is not what we perceive it to be? Or maybe it's the producers telling us look closer for answers. In any instance, our eyes are peeled.
