Apolo OhnoThe Winter Olympics in Vancouver are underway, and soon we'll see which athletes become this year's biggest stars. And once the games are over, many of them will inevitably make their way to television with cameo appearances and reality competitions. (Let's start our Lindsey Vonn on 'Dancing with the Stars' campaign now, everyone!)

With that in mind, the Hulu team took a look back to find other Olympic heroes who have crossed over to TV over the years. With that in mind, the Hulu team took a look back to find other Olympic heroes who have crossed over to TV over the years. Here are some of our favorites.

Apolo Ohno
At this year's Vancouver games, Apolo Anton Ohno has a shot at winning an American Winter Olympic medal record. Since taking the skating world by storm in at the 2002 and 2006 games, though, Ohno has become a familiar face on TV: He won the sparkly disco ball on 'Dancing with the Stars' in 2007, and has made regular appearances on talk shows. Our favorite Ohno appearance, though, has to be the time he showed up as guest judge on 'Project Runway.'

Michael Phelps
While we don't expect Olympic champion Michael Phelps to be nominated for an Emmy anytime soon, he did get a lot of buzz for his hosting gig on 'Saturday Night Live' in September 2008, just after sweeping the Beijing Summer Games. In this sketch, he shares the secret to his remarkable physique. (Warning: don't try this at home.)

Bruce Jenner
While an older generation may remember decathlete Bruce Jenner for taking the gold back in 1976, he's better known these days for leeping up with his stepdaughters on the E! reality series that follows Kardashian sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe (and mom Kim). That doesn't mean Jenner himself doesn't steal the spotlight from time to time.

Natalie Coughlin
While swimmer Natalie Coughlin didn't make it to the winners circle in 'Dancing with the Stars' last fall, the Olympian (who won a record six gold medals at the2008 Beijing Summer games) wowed us with her grace as she mastered difficult numbers like this Bolero.

Charles Barkley
In January, NBA star (and member of the 1992 and 1996 Olympic basketball "Dream Team") signed up to host an episode of 'Saturday Night Live,' where he offered up golfing tips (timely, given the Tiger Woods scandal) and tried to give MacGruber some much-needed racial sensitivity training. .

Shawn Johnson
After winning medals in the 2008 Summer Olympics, gymnast Shawn Johnson was a media darling, landing a winning role on 'Dancing with the Stars' and even making a cameo on ABC Family's 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager.' While she scored a perfect 10 on 'Dancing,' the jury's still out on her 'Secret Life' performance. You be the judge with the clip below.

Shaquille O'Neal
A 1996 gold medalist for men's basketball, Shaquille O'Neal is no stranger to competition -- or TV and film, for that matter. ('Kazaam,' anyone?) Last summer, the 7-foot-1 NBA star starred in his own reality series, 'Shaq Vs' and challenged top athletes to a face-off in their own sport. O'Neal went up against boxing great Oscar De La Hoya, baseball slugger Albert Pujols, and even a few Olympians: swimming sensation Michael Phelps and beach volleyball stars Misty May-Treanor and Keri Walsh, who won an amazing 112 straight matches. 'Shaq Vs' wasn't just a chance to catch some of O'Neal's athletic prowess, though -- it was also a display of his unwavering confidence. In fact, when he faced off with May-Treanor and Walsh, he was so confident he could beat them, he promised to walk the beach where nothing but a pink speedo if he didn't deliver.

So how'd he do? We'll let the video answer that question.
