'Nine Lives' revolves around a group of people who find a way to reunite with their loved ones in the afterlife, but those journeys unleash an evil force. While Syfy ultimately passed on the project, its sister company NBC may bring it to light as a direct-to-series vehicle, pending a rewrite from Bohem to appeal to a broader broadcast audience.

Steven Spielberg has many upcoming television projects, including 'The Pacific,' his much-anticipated companion piece to 'Band of Brothers' that premieres Mar. 14th on HBO. He's also looking to team up with Stephen King to adapt the author's latest opus, 'Under the Dome,' into a miniseries.
