A few months ago, Steve McPherson, ABC's entertainment president, stated, "We always intended to break ['V'] up into 'pods' to make it more of an event." Well, starting Mar. 30, ABC's Tuesday-night lineup will definitely be an event, as the network has decided to pair 'V' with the final season of 'Lost,' according to the Orlando Sentinel. As of now, 'V' will officially air Tuesdays at 10PM.
Whether or not this will improve 'V''s ratings remains to be seen. The show premiered to an incredible 14.3 million viewers and a 5.2 rating (adults 18-49) back in November; however, the audience quickly tapered off in subsequent episodes.

'V' -- which previously aired at 8PM -- has been on hiatus since the end of last year.
In the meantime, the time slot shakeup should delight sci-fi fans, who are now poised to gain a new show as another one departs. ('Lost' is set to go off the airwaves sometime in the spring.)
