The most famous mother of 14 in America -- Nadya Suleman, better known as "Octomom" for giving birth to octuplets in January 2009 -- will join the ladies of ABC's 'The View' next Wed., Feb. 24, as a guest.

Suleman's visit to 'The View' -- her first -- airs at 11AM EST, and the full roster of hosts, including Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd, are expected to be on hand, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Already a mother of six when she became the second person in U.S. history to give birth to eight live babies, the 34-year-old Suleman remains at the center of a national debate over the ethics of in vitro fertilization and other types of fertility treatments. The most famous mother of 14 in America -- Nadya Suleman, better known as "Octomom" after giving birth to octuplets in January 2009 -- will join the ladies of ABC's 'The View' next Wed., Feb. 24, as a guest.

Already a mother of six when she became the second person in U.S. history to give birth to eight live babies, the 34-year-old Suleman remains at the center of a national debate over the ethics of in vitro fertilization and other types of fertility treatments.

Indeed, the doctor who implanted the embryos in Suleman, Dr. Michael Kamrava, came under fire in the press and the Medical Board of California launched an investigation. Last October, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine expelled Kamrava, but it does not affect his ability to practice medicine.

Suleman herself remains the focus of withering media criticism because, before conceiving the octupets, she was living on public assistance with her parents and children in a two-bedroom apartment. Of course, a reality-TV deal announced last June may now be helping with financial matters.

The octuplets turned one year old last month.
