'BAFTAs' (Sun., 8PM, BBCA)
Not unlike our Oscars, the British Academy of Film Awards -- or the BAFTAs -- are all about 'Avatar' this year, with the James Cameron tech spectacular earning eight BAFTA nods, tying it with 'The Hurt Locker' and 'An Education' (which, like 'Avatar,' are both also Oscar Best Picture contenders) for the most nominations. 'District 9,' another Oscar Best Picture nominee, is up for seven BAFTAs, while Leading Actor and Actress nominees include Jeff Bridges ('Crazy Heart'), George Clooney ('Up in the Air'), Colin Firth ('A Single Man'), Jeremy Renner ('The Hurt Locker'), Carey Mulligan ('An Education'), Saoirse Ronan ('The Lovely Bones'), Gabourey Sidibe ('Precious') and Meryl Streep ('Julie and Julia'). Meanwhile, British acting legend Vanessa Redgrave will receive an Academy Fellowship, the BAFTAs' version of the lifetime achievement award.'BAFTAs' (Sun., 8PM, BBCA)
