Harold Perrineau Stopping by 'CSI: NY' as Well as 'Lost' This Season

Harold PerrineauMichael is scheduled to return to one of the realities of 'Lost' this season, but that's not the only place we can expect to see Harold Perrineau this spring. According to Entertainment Weekly, Perrineau is schedule to guest star on an April episode of 'CSI: NY.' He'll be playing the role of a death row inmate who must fight for his life during a prison riot.

The part that gets interesting for fans of the crime procedural is that Sheldon Hawkes will be in the prison along with Perrineau's character. What he's doing there hasn't been revealed, but there's apparently a connection between his past and Perrineau. I thought it might have more to do with his recent financial troubles, but perhaps there are secrets in Hawkes' past that will make his recent troubles seem like child's play.

So now we have two different things to wonder about in regards to Perrineau. Make that three. First, what will Michael be up to when he returns to 'Lost,' and will Walt be back, as well? Second, what is his connection to Hawkes on 'CSI: NY' and will he survive the riot? Finally, when will Perrineau get a regular television gig again?

He's too good an actor to waste on guest roles here and there, and while I had high hopes for 'The Unusuals,' it was apparently too ... well, unusual for audiences. Hopefully a couple of high profile gigs this April will help him secure something more permanent. There are too few strong African-American characters on television right now as it is.

If he can't land on a new show, he could always join an existing one. 'Desperate Housewives' is always looking for new good-looking men to cougar. Speaking of which, he could always join 'Cougar Town' as a new love interest for Jules. Or he could work for Kitty Walker's campaign on 'Brothers & Sisters' now that Rob Lowe is leaving the show. Where would you cast him?

meh, it's lost, I expect any body to pop back up and say hi. As long as he doesn't go on about his right as a father.

Hey, thanks for the spoiler there...I mean I understand it's a big show and it's out there, but putting it in the headline is a little much, especially for a show that thrives on surprise re-occurrences...I'm not so much complaining, I know it's a "me" thing in this case, but maybe something to consider next time :)
