After fielding multiple offers, Katee Sackhoff has found her next big TV role.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 'Battlestar Galactica' alum is set to star in a new ABC crime drama from Richard Hatem and Gary Fleder.

As previously reported, the untitled series revolves around a detective (Sackhoff) and her disgraced male co-worker who solve crimes as they try to unravel a conspiracy that led to his downfall.

This will be Sackhoff's second attempt at leading a network series. In 2009, she was set to star in 'Lost and Found,' another detective show that failed to receive a pickup order from NBC.After fielding multiple offers, Katee Sackhoff has found her next big TV role.

As previously reported, the untitled series revolves around a detective (Sackhoff) and her disgraced male co-worker who solve crimes as they try to unravel the conspiracy that led to his downfall.

This will be Sackhoff's second attempt at leading a network series. In 2009, she was set to star in a different detective show, 'Lost and Found,' but it failed to receive a pickup order from NBC.

Currently, Sackhoff has been hard at work on '24' as data analyst Dana Walsh. She recently filmed a guest spot on the CBS comedy 'The Big Bang Theory,'

Due in great part to her role as Kara "Starbuck" Thrace on BSG, Sackhoff has become known for playing strong, tough-as-nails characters on the small screen. She talked more about being pigeonholed into these roles when we interviewd her in January, saying, "There's something about strong heroines who women want to be and men want to screw."

We can only imagine that Hatem and company have similar thoughts about Sackhoff's role in this new project.
