New TV on DVD Releases This Week

FlashForwardHere are the new TV DVDs, in stores tomorrow.

So this is the week that 'FlashForward' gets released on DVD, even though we're still in the middle of season one. You'll notice that the DVD set is titled "Season 1, Part 1" because, well, Part 2 won't start until March 18. So who is going to buy this set to prepare for the show's return?

  • 'Mythbusters' - Urban Legends
  • 'Night Court' - Season 3
  • 'Nurse Jackie' - Season 1
  • 'Project Runway' - Season 6
  • 'Superjail' - Season 1

How do you mean related? Its not the same universe. It was supposed to be a spinoff off that show but it was canceled and Crises was made instead.

'Justice League' - Crisis on Two Earths isnt based on a TV show.

It's considered related to the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited shows that ran on CN a couple years back, so it counts.

It's on my maybe list with Superjail. Mythbusters and Night Court are on my buy list.

Given how many cable network series have split seasons, how is this unusual, or undesirable? Even the practice of a semiseasonal DVD release soon before the next network segment begins copies the cable practice.
