TV Casting: Becki Newton Joins NBC Dramedy

According to reports, Netwon has signed on to star in NBC's 'Love Bites,' a dramedy that revolves around "modern stories of love, sex, marriage and dating." Newton -- who reportedly received 11 different pilot offers -- will play Annie, a social worker who just so happens to be a virgin. Bill PullmanScreen star Bill Pullman will join Jay Harrington ('Better Off Ted') in the NBC comedy 'Nathan vs. Nurture.' Pullman will play Harrington's biological father in the series, about a heart surgeon (Harrington) who reconnects with his father decades after his adoption. Rachel Leigh CookRachel Leigh Cook ('She's All That') has apparently found 'Nirvana.' Cook has been cast as the female lead in the Fox comedy pilot, set around two Indian-American brothers who try to blend in with their American surroundings.
